    • Party Directed MediationWe strongly recomend to you Party-Directed MediationThe Party-Directed Mediation model was developed by Gregorio Billikopf of the University of California. One aspect of the mediation model focuses on listening, using the techniques of client centered therapy (developed by Carl Rogers). 
      The role of the mediator is primarily to be a good listener and coach, thereby allowing the parties involved to have free rein over the specific steps taken toward resolving a conflict or achieving a compromise. see page. 119

As communities develop within a field and experts communicate with each other over time, new languages emerge.

    • The easiest way to understand arbitration is to simply call it a private court. What it is, it is the parties choose an arbitrator or a number of arbitrators  who will be their decision maker to resolve their dispute. If they can’t agree on who that might be, they can choose a process by which the arbitrator will be chosen.
